A leading manufacturer of high-performance suspension systems for motorsports and street performance was facing a persistent challenge: under specific conditions, a shock absorber was emitting a squeaking noise. This was not consistent with the premium quality standards the company upholds. Given the tribological nature of the issue, the manufacturer sought our expertise for a PTFE-based solution. We collaborated to determine which materials and thicknesses could provide the optimal combination of wear resistance, flexibility, and acoustics under demanding conditions.

Reducing costs without compromising performance: optimal conveyor belt selection in practice

A customer had been working with the same type of conveyor belt for years. Functional, but no longer economically viable. We proposed an alternative that had shown excellent results in similar production environments: a slightly shorter technical lifespan, but significantly lower costs per operating hour. During a controlled test period, we compared performance, wear and total costs. The conclusion was simple: same user experience, lower costs, less hassle. With a framework agreement, we also ensured continuity, stock security, and sustainable purchasing.
