High performance SPSA tape/skived PTFE tape All standard materials are available per meter in standard widths. We also supply rolls (min. 30 meters) in any desired width and in various thicknesses from 0.08 mm to 0.68 mm.

Duplex sealing tape is a specialized heat-seal tape consisting of a PTFE-coated glass fabric strip with adhesive tape on both sides, protected by a film. This tape is engineered for dependable sealing results in high-temperature and intensive-use environments.

Adhesive tape options:

  • Crepe
  • Glass (transparent)
  • Linen
  • Double-sided
  • Double-sided with acrylic adhesive

Thickness:

The thickness of the product is determined by the PTFE-coated glass fabric used in its manufacture.

Common thicknesses are: 0.08 mm – 0.13 mm – 0.15 mm – 0.25 mm.

  • The useful weld width must be a minimum of 5 mm and a maximum of approximately 200 mm.
  • The total width is made up of the useful weld width plus 2 x adhesive edge (standard 2 x 15 mm).
  • Protective film: silicone paper, easy to remove
  • Roll length: 30 or 50 meters

PFAS-free ceramic coating

This product boasts very good non-stick and sliding properties, a maximum operating temperature of up to 260°C, and is harder and more wear-resistant than traditional PTFE coatings.

It is suitable for higher mechanical loads.

This product is ideal for cleaning and preventing the accumulation of sticky or viscous substances on slide plates, mixers, funnels, and similar equipment. Its use leaves minimal residues, thereby reducing the necessity for extensive cleaning. The coating is also well-suited for non-stick applications on sealing plates. The benefits of this product include a marked enhancement in productivity and an extended service life.

Silicone rubber is a highly versatile synthetic elastomer that is used extensively in demanding production and process environments. The material offers high temperature resistance, as well as excellent chemical and mechanical properties. At FluorTech, we offer a wide range of silicone rubber products, including hoses, profiles, and sheets, with options in solid, foam, cell, sponge, and mus.

Versions and dimensions

The low resistance option is available in flat, bevelled, hollow band or profile band (sicken band) variants.

This is suitable for use with an electronic control unit (e.g. Ropex) and has the benefit of rapid heating with short pulse times.

The high resistance option comprises flat sealing wire or hollow band and is not compatible with an electronic control unit.

This option has slow heating with longer pulse times.
